Hello, I'm Emir. I’m a PhD student at the University of Liverpool within the School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science. I’m funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Unilever to develop decision support tools for strategic decision making through explicitly pulling on both psychology and data science (more on this here).

Master's thesis on: Applying machine learning techniques to optimise personalised parental advice and boost child language acquisition; predictive modelling to capture the words a toddler will learn next.
2014—2017: BSc Joint Hons Computer Science and Psychology, University of Liverpool
Honours thesis on: Modelling child language acquisition through computer simulations; simulating infant statistical language learning using a model based on chunking.
